The Divine Book Qur'an
The Qur'an is the word of Allah revealed to mankind through Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.). The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) is therefore not the author, but a messenger, the last one, who recited accurately what was revealed to him by Allah through the angel Jibraeel (Gabriel) over a period of some 23 years. According to the occasion, somtimes a complete chapter (sura) was revealed whilst at other times only one verse (aya) was revealed. The Qur'an comprises of 114 chapters (suwer). The language in which the Qur'an was revealed is Arabic. It is written from right to left and the book opens in this direction..........More
